Some factors that can affect fertility
Fertility is for any person a very important thing that could be questioned for various reasons, sometimes harmless. So what are the factors that can affect fertility? Find out here.
The cell phone
Rare are the men who are not equipped with a smartphone in the 21ᵉ century. If women have the opportunity to put their cell phone in their handbag, men do not necessarily have the opportunity to put it in a bag. The latter prefer to keep it, for the most part, in their front pocket. Unfortunately, this is a very bad habit, because apparently harmless, this gesture would actually have a consequence on male fertility.
According to a study carried out on a hundred men during one year, a link was clearly established between the fact of keeping his phone in his pockets and the decrease of the production of spermatozoids.
Certainly, the sperm of men who had kept their smartphone on standby all day in their pockets was much less concentrated than those who did not have their phone on them. From this study, it was also shown that the more a man used his smartphone during the day, the less likely his sperm would fertilize the egg.
Being healthy seems to be one of the most important factors when it comes to conceiving a child. Therefore, being overweight, extremely thin or changing weight is not conducive to fertility. In fact, a woman who is either overweight or underweight may experience problems or abnormalities in her ovulation and menstrual cycle, characterized by amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, etc.
In addition, in men, excess weight can be linked to a decrease in the quantity of spermatozoa in the seminal fluid. Consulting a nutritionist or dietician in this case can be a good solution. He will be able to tell you what to do and at the same time give you advice on how to get back to a stable weight.
